Avaliação in vitro da infiltração de corante após apicectomia e acabamento com diferentes tipos de brocas

Aims: evaluate the differences of infiltration by apical surface after apicoectomy and different kinds root finishing. Materials method: Sixty human cuspids were endodontically treated received apicoectomy, divided in three alleatory groups. Group I no finishing apicoectomy. II standard multifluted bur III same group II, plus brunishing bur. Root surfaces canal coated with nail polishing except surface. The roots immersed 2% methylene blue for 72 hours. Infiltration internal was measured using millimetred magnifying glass one "blind" examinator. Data submitted to ANOVA. Results: presented higher values than groups III. These two had statistical difference, although showed lower values. Conclusions: resection burs have reduced dentine. Additional could even reduce infiltration, statistically significant differences.
